WHAT TO EXPECT
It’s difficult to over-state the importance of having a powerful vision to direct and inspire our actions and aspirations. VISION is the underpinning of every meaningful endeavor. It’s not ALL we need, but without it we are, as one philosopher said, “a ship without a destination.”
Ironically, it’s important to acknowledge that arriving at a clear and compelling vision isn’t that easy, especially for many women.
Why? Because we have been acculturated to please others, put our own needs in a queue behind the needs of others. Many of us have been taught to tamp down our aspirations so we won’t appear overly ambitious, ungrateful for what we already have, pushy or selfish. Perhaps our wishes have been discouraged in the past as unrealistic or too grandiose. There can be so many voices “in our heads,” no wonder we find it difficult to connect with a powerful vision!
‘Inside that limiting set of cultural constraints, especially for those of us entering the Sovereign Renaissance stage of Life, we may feel a strong impulse to finally reach for what we really want. We may feel we’re running out of time. We may have decided we’re tired of waiting.
Whatever your personal aspiration, priorities and story, the 2027 FRESH START Vision Retreat for Women will provide a well-designed container for exploring your desires and intentions for 2027 and beyond.
On offer, intertwined in a beautiful and joyously designed day will be: simple breath-work; easy, energy-stirring movement; visualization meditation; journaling; drawing/coloring/collage-making; and group activities designed to unite the group. Together we’ll generate that good feeling that we’re all in this together, we’re all rooting for each other.
There’s power in that (even the research says so!)
